Tamenglong, March 19 2023: Union Minister of Labour and Employment, Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Bhupender Yadav visited Tamenglong and initiated a plantation drive in Duigailong village on March 17 .

Earlier, district officials, Duigailong Village Authorities and SHG members felicitated the Minister at the Range Office Complex, Tamenglong.

An interaction programme was also held with the SHG members of various VDVKs under TRIFED in which the Minister listened to the grievances & demands of the public and assured to continue helping them in the future.

As part of the event, Amandeep, DFO Tamenglong also presented a poster of the Amur Falcon.

The poster was later handed over to Tamenglong Higher Secondary School to spread the awareness on conserving/protecting the bird species.
