TB elimination awareness drive held in Thoubal

Thoubal, June 18 2026: As part of the National Tuberculosis (TB) Elimination Programme, the District Health Society Thoubal and District TB Control Unit, Thoubal, organised a sensitisation programme at different locations in the district today.

The sensitisation programmes were conducted at Ayushman Arogya Mandir, Forest Range Office and Yairipok Municipal Council as part of the ongoing campaign to spread awareness and strengthen efforts towards eliminating TB from the district.

The programme was attended by District TB Officer, Dr Y Sameen and District coordinator Th Stefee as resource persons.

As part of the campaign, Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials carrying messages on TB prevention and control were also distributed to the people.
