PP Christian Eng School celebrates Children's day, inaugurates new building

PP Christian English School marked a double celebration on Saturday as it observed Children's Day and simultaneously inaugurated its newly constructed school building.
The event was graced by Koshoni Phimu, Deputy Secretary, GAD/Horticulture, Govt of Manipur as the chief guest, while Rev KS Matthew, Pastor of Lairouching Baptist Church, blessed the new building as the administrator.
In his welcome address, Principal of the school, Ng Joseph expressed gratitude for God's blessings and stated that the new building could not have been inaugurated on a more joyous occasion than Children's Day.
Delivering her speech, chief guest Koshoni Phimu congratulated the school authority for constructing an additional structure that reflects the institution's commitment to creating a better learning environment.
She noted that the new building stands as a testament to growth and vision, symbolizing a place where young minds will be shaped into future leaders.
She further emphasized that the building is more than just bricks and mortar, calling it "a temple of learning where valuable life lessons, new subjects, and unforgettable memories will be created" .
She expressed hope that the institution would continue to inspire and nurture generations of learners.
During the event, role model students of the school were also felicitated.
L Phuba Joel of class IX received the Best Student Award, RM Keipyi Catherine of Class IV was awarded the Miss Clean title, and Mister Clean title went to Lungrei Michael of class VIII.
Mesmerising dances and inspiring songs were also presented by teachers, while the students of PP Stars performed a Ukulele symphony, adding charm to the celebration.
