Thoubal, December 14 2025: The District-Level Youth Festival 2025 for Thoubal district was organised on Wednesday at Thoubal Kshetri Leikai Multipurpose Indoor Stadium Hall by the District Youth Affairs & Sports Officer, Thoubal.

The festival witnessed enthusiastic participation from youths aged between 15 and 29 from across the district.

The event was graced by L Marjit Kumar, State Director of Mera Yuva Bharat Manipur; SAI Imphal Retd Asst Director K Michael; and Directorate of YAS, Govt of Manipur, Senior Youth Officer N Rameshswar, who attended as presidium members.

As part of the programme, participating youths competed in various events including painting, story writing, poetry competition, folk song competition and folk dance competitions.

Winners of the competitions were later felicitated by the dignitaries.

Addressing the gathering, State Director of Mera Yuva Bharat Manipur, L Marjit Kumar said that youths selected from the District-Level Youth Festival would get the opportunity to participate in the State-Level Youth Festival.

He further informed that those selected at the State Level would represent Manipur at the National Youth Festival scheduled to be held at New Delhi from January 12-16, 2026 .

He added that the festival aims to identify and nurture young talents in the State and expressed appreciation for the support and cooperation extended by the public and participants in making the event a success.
