Meritorious students, achievers honoured

Imphal, June 14 2026: The Blossom School today held a grand FelicitationFunction to honour students for their outstanding performance in the HSLC Examination, 2026.The programme began with a welcome song by the students' music band, followed by the Headmaster's address lauding students and teachers.

Achievers were felicitated for their dedication and results.

In his motivational speech, the Honorary Chairman urged students to pursue goals with discipline and integrity.

He expressed pride in the school securing a 100% pass percentage for the third consecutive year and praised teachers' commitment.

A minute's silence was observed to condole the demise of the fathers of three students-Langlen Yumnam, Johana Kshetrimayum, and Jurni Lourmbam.

Separately, Chabungbam Sagei Apunba Lup today honoured meritorious students and achievers at the residence of its president Chabungbam Nandakishwor in Thangmeiband Sinam Leikai.

As in previous years, awards were given to Class X and XII toppers from BOSEM, COHSEM, and CBSE, along with outstanding personalities of the clan.

A total of 33 meritorious students were felicitated.

Chabungbam Karlson, who secured 17th rank in the MPSC Civil Services Examination, and doctorate holders Dr Chabungbam Lison, Dr Chabungbam Olivia, and Dr Chabungbam Ranjana were also honoured with mementoes and cash prizes.

Presiding over the function, Nandakishwor, former Director of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry, said students who respect elders, show good manners, and help others will become worthy citizens.

He advised students to face life's hardships with courage, maintain discipline, and speak politely with peers.

"Hard work and discipline pave the way for success.

Strive to be responsible citizens who can serve the state and nation", he added.

Senior members Chabungbam Rajendro and Chabungbam Nabachandra also attended the event.

Moreover, Mayanglangjing Youth's Library Club (MYLC) organised the 2nd Felicitation Programme for meritorious students at its premises in Mayanglangjing.

The event was graced by Lamsang AC MLA Sorokhaibam Rajen and Mayanglangjing Semgat Sagat Nupi Marup president Chongtham Keinahanbi as presidium members.

Ward Members, ex-Ward Members and members of Mayanglangjing ZP Development also attended the event.
