Tiranga Yatra, bike rally taken out

Non/Spi/Ukh, August 13 2024: As apart of Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, District Administration Noney conducted a Tiranga Yatra with the participation of school students and teachers at Noney DC Office Complex today.

The rally was organised in collaboration with the Zonal Education Office.

The yatra was flagged off from the DC Office, reached NH-37 and returned to the starting point.

Afterwards, a pledge taking ceremony led by DC Sharath Chandra Arroju was also held in the premises of DC Office Complex.

Separately, a Tiranga Bike Rally was organised by Noney District Police in coordination with District Administration and Longmai Nature Club.

More than 30 bikers took part in the rally.

The bike rally was flagged off by Dr Sharath Chandra Arroju, DC Noney from Longmai Bazar Bridge Point.

After reaching Khumji and Noney DC Office Complex, it culminated at Traffic Point, Longmai Bazar.

Namsadai Peter Pamei, SP Noney thanked the bikers for their active participation.

Meanwhile, Senapati District Police also organised a bike rally in the District Headquarters celebration of Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.

SP Senapati flagged off the rally which was participated by more than 50 bikers.

Deputy Commissioner, Ukhrul Kengoo Zuringla also launched the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign at Mini Secretariat Office Complex, Hamleikhong Ukhrul today.
