Imphal, August 10 2026: Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh is set to launch the intensified Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaign of Manipur State AIDS Control Society (MACS) on August 12 International Youth Day 2026 .

It will be the third round of the campaign after two successful rounds conducted in 2024 and 2025 .

The intensified IEC campaign 2026 will last two months, from August 12 to October 12, and include various activities like flash mobs, door-to-door campaign, rallies, awareness sessions at schools and colleges, village level meetings, street plays and awareness camps at Government hospitals across the State to generate awareness about HIV and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), said MACS .
