Imphal, March 08 2026: The All Manipur Students Guardians' Organisation (AMSGO) marked its 29th Foundation Day with a meaningful event held at the Old Age Home in Langjing Achouba.

The celebration was organised around the theme, "Importance of Youth", emphasizing the critical role young people play in shaping the future of society.

The event commenced with a solemn tribute to the AMSGO's departed members, observing two minutes of silence and offering floral tributes as a mark of respect.

The core message of the day highlighted the collective responsibility of all stakeholders in building a progressive society.

A key focus was the crucial role of parents in guiding their children.

The AMSGO stressed that for a better future generation, parents must ensure their children receive proper education and adhere to ethical norms, including appearing for exams honestly.

The organisation also raised concerns about the emerging "note-taking culture" during the ongoing Class X and XII exams, calling for an immediate halt to this unethical practice by some parents and students.

To conclude the day's events, the organisation demonstrated its commitment to community welfare by donating food and other essential items to the residents of the Old Age Home.

Meanwhile, in connection with their 19th Foundation Day, the Royal Riders Manipur (RRM) donated food items and sports materials to the Yaibilen Children's Home located at Keibi Sanapat, Imphal East district.

The items were presented today by members of the RRM to the children's home.

The main Foundation Day event is scheduled to take place on March 10 at the RRM Club in Meitei Langol.
