NCC, SFS, ARPS celebrate Teachers' Day with great enthusiasm, reverence

Sainik Foundation School (SFS), functioning under the aegis of Sainik School Imphal celebrated Teachers' Day on Thursday with great enthusiasm and reverence.
As per a release issued by Sainik School Imphal, the celebration gained more significance with the presence of Mangka Mayanglambam, renowned Manipuri folk singer and cultural icon of the State as the chief guest.
Mangka Mayanglambam felicitated the teachers and captivated the audience with a soulful & melodious rendition of a traditional song, which was met with resounding applause.
Her performance not only added charm to the event but also highlighted the rich cultural heritage of Manipur.
She also interacted with SFS cadets and girl cadets of Sainik School Imphal Sharing insights about her journey in music and the importance of preserving traditional art forms and motivated them to pursue their dreams while remaining rooted in discipline & values.
Officiating Chairman of SFS, Lt Col Satish Kumar Singh along with staff of SFS expressed gratitude and presented a token of remembrance and simple gifts in recognition of her contributions towards the society and the rich culture & traditions of Manipur.

Assam Rifles Public School (ARPS), Keithelmanbi, Imphal West, commemorated Teachers' Day on Thursday with a vibrant celebration that paid heartfelt tribute to the guiding lights of education.
According to a release issued by PRO HQ IGAR (South), the event marked the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose legacy continues to inspire generations of educators and learners alike.
The programme unfolded with a series of cultural and musical performances presented by students, each act reflecting deep admiration and gratitude for their mentors.
From soulful songs to spirited dances and thoughtful skits, the young performers showcased their creativity and respect for the teaching fraternity.
A total of 410 participants - including 28 teachers and 382 students attended the celebration, which was also joined by officials of Assam Rifles.
The gathering resonated with warmth and reverence as teachers were felicitated for their unwavering dedication, patience, and commitment to shaping young minds.
The gesture underscored the pivotal role the educators play in nurturing values, discipline, and excellence among youth.
Officials commended the teachers for their tireless efforts in guiding students toward a brighter future, emphasizing that the foundation of a strong nation lies in the hands of its educators.

National Cadet Corps (NCC), Group HeadQuarter, Imphal celebrated Teachers' Day with great fervor at NCC Auditorium in Dhanamanjuri College campus, Imphal today.
Additionally, a NCC Cultural Festival was also held.
A key highlight of the event was the felicitation of Squadron Leader Rizwan Malik who was conferred the Vir Chakra on the occasion of India's 79th Independence Day for his daring and decisive deep-penetration strikes during Operation Sindoor.
Captain Ngangom Subadani Devi (retired), wife of Late Major Ngangom Joydutta Singh, recipient of Vir Chakra (Posthumous) was also honoured.
The event was attended by NCC Manipur Group Commander Brigadier Vikrant Kulkarni, ARWWA's regional president Navjeet Kaur Kamboj and other prominent personalities.
