Senapati police conduct drive against tinted glass vehicles

Senapati, March 04 2025: A drive was conducted by Senapati District Police along NH-2 in Senapati district to remove tinted glass from vehicles, under the supervision of new SP Dharmendra Tyagi.

The initiative aimed to enhance road safety, prevent the misuse of heavily tinted glass by criminals for illegal activities such as smuggling arms and drugs, and promote women's safety.

On Tuesday, the police successfully removed tinted glass from three vehicles within the areas of Mao police station and two vehicles from within Senapati police station jurisdiction.

The Senapati police warned vehicle owners that similar exercises will continue in the coming days, urging them to voluntarily remove tinted glass from their vehicles to avoid police action.
