Mishap claims 1 at Moirang Panlang

Imphal, August 03: A woman passenger of a diesel auto died when the vehicle met with an accident and fell into a roadside ditch at Moirang Panlang, Bishnupur district at about 11.30 this morning.

The deceased is identified as Khoirom Pishak (60) w/o late Khema of Waikhurok Mamang Leikai.

On the other hand, at least five passengers of a mini bus sustained injuries when it collided with a power tiller transporting gravel near Mantripukhri, Chumbrei thong at about 8.10 am today.

The Bus(MN-01/ 0548) was heading to Imphal when it collided with the power tiller which was crossing the highway.

Of the five injured, Deepa (40) w/o Nillakumar of Kanglatongbi, her 18 months old son and one Devi (22) d/o Ganesh have been referred to RIMS from JN hospital.
