UFO Rongpur Branch observes 28th raising day

Imphal, May 02 2026: The 28th raising day of Meitei Huiyen Langlon Sintam Sanglen Universal Friendship Organization (UFO) Rongpur Branch in Assam was observed today in a solemn ceremony.

The Rongpur Branch falls under Universal Friendship Organization (UFO) Far West Head Quarter No 4.The event was organised under the supervision of UFO Central Head Quarter Heipok and Far West Central Committee.

The gathering paid their respects to the founders and leaders of the organisation, followed by the hoisting of the flag bearing the symbol of Ibudhou Pakhangba by UFO Far West Central Committee president and retired Army personnel Kolom Khumanjao Meitei.

UFO members honoured the flag with a formal salute on the occasion.

The gathering also deliberated over issues and activities pertaining to the organisation and the State.

Several resolutions were also passed as part of the discussion.

Other attendees present at the raising day observation include UFO Movement Instructor Senjam Biren; UFO Far West Head Quarter No 2 Deputy Commander W Dinesh; UFO Far West Commander L Rajen Kumar; UFO Far West Headquarter No 5 Commander L Yumlingba; UFO Far West Headquarter No 5 Secretary L Bimola; UFO Far West Headquarter No 4 Secretary Khundrakpam Ongbi Ahilya; Meitei Huyen Langlon Sintam Shanglen UFO Rongpur Branch members and UFO volunteers from different regions.
