Imphal, March 02 2025: The Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) on Sunday kicked off a week-long celebration of International Women's Day with a treasure hunt game for families of the garrison, bringing them together in an atmosphere of fun & camaraderie.

As part of the event, a newly constructed Wooden Bridge was inaugurated, symbolising strength, connection and progress, said a release issued by PRO HQ IGAR (South) .

In a meaningful gesture of inclusivity, the bridge was inaugurated by a young achiever from the community, highlighting the spirit of empowerment and collective growth.

With this successful start, the IGAR (South) reaffirmed its commitment to honouring the contributions of women and kindling a sense of unity throughout the celebrations.
