DPUVO to observe Patriots' Day at Nambol on Aug 13

Nambol, August 01 2026: The Development & Protection, United Voluntary Organisation (DPUVO) will observe Patriots' Day at the Public Hall, Nambol Keithel, on August 13 (Thursday), marking the second edition of the event.

According to a statement issued by the organisation, a patriotic theme-song competition and a patriotic-themed poetry recitation competition will also be organised as part of the observance.

Students of Classes V to X from the Nambol area will participate in the competitions, with contestants divided into two groups.

Winners of the competitions will be awarded cash prizes, certificates and mementoes.

DPUVO informed interested participants that printed application forms can be collected from its office at Nambol.

The last date for submission of completed forms is August 10 .
