Imphal, March 29 2025: JAC formed in connection with the missing of student Luwangthem Mukesh has declared continuation of sit-in protests until the truth about the missing student and his whereabouts is revealed.

In a release, JAC co-convenor S Suvashchandra Singh stated that Mukesh, who left his home on March 16, is still missing.

The JAC also submitted a memorandum to Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla, chief secretary, security advisor and Manipur police DGP demanding action to locate Mukesh and ensure his safe return to his family.

The JAC, along with people from different localities, has been staging sit-in protest at Keishampat Leimajam Leikai community hall for the last 13 days demanding establishment of Mukhesh's whereabouts and his safe return, the release said, adding that the protests will continue until the truth about the missing student is uncovered.
