Felicitation ceremonies held at various places

Development Organisation Andro Kendra (DOAK) on Saturday organised a "Meritorious Award Ceremony" to acknowledge the hard work of achievers from Andro Assembly Constituency who have excelled in various fields like education, sports, art & culture, etc .
Additionally, the "Feshers' Meet 2005" of Thambalnu Higher Secondary School, Yairipok was also held.
The ceremony held at Yairipok Top Chingtha Laibung was graced by dignitaries, including Thounaojam Shyamkumar, ML A Andro AC; Maibam Somorendro Singh, chairman, School Management Committee, Thambalnu Hr Sec School; Wahengbam Sanaton Singh, working president, DOAK; Maibam Nodiya Singh, president, Top Chingtha Lai Committee; and Moimagthem Thoiba Singh, founder, Little Master English School, Samurou.
During the event, Thounaojam Shyamkumar presented memento and cash awards to Loitongbam Ashalata Devi, captain of Indian women football team; Singhamayum Shami, captain of Indian football team (SAFF under-19 Football Championship); Maibam Rabi Meitei, 1st position, All Manipur Meitei Puya Wari Leeba Changdamnaba; and Naorem Gulap Singh, Kala Bhushan Awardee (Lairik Thiba).
Reen Chakpram, a student of Thambalnu Higher Secondary School who secured 17th position (Science stream) in the Higher Secondary Examination 2025 conducted by COHSEM was also honoured with a cash award of Rs 1,00,000.Meritorious students of Thambalnu Higher Secondary School who secured more than 80 percent in this year's Class XII examination conducted by COHSEM were also felicitated.
CRPF
The 143 Battalion CRPF on Saturday organised a felicitation ceremony in honour of Wahengbam Deepshika of Enlighten Knowledge Higher Secondary School who secured 7th position (Arts stream) in the Higher Secondary Examination 2025 conducted by COHSEM .
The ceremony held at the Battalion HQ in Lamphelpat was graced by Ravinder Sharma, Commandant, 143 Bn CRPF; Anand Prasad Gothwal, 2 I/C; CSS Kushwaha, DC; and T Bhagad Singh, DC among others.
During the event, Ravinder Sharma presented gifts to the meritorious student as a token of acknowledgement for her success and motivation.
He also lauded Deepshika for her perseverance and encouraged her to continue striving for excellence in her future endeavours.
