Over 300 attend Wide Angle medical camp at Salam

Imphal, April 26 2026:
Wide Angle (Social Development Organisation), Sagolband Moirang Hanuba, successfully conducted a comprehensive medical health camp today at the Salam Community Hall.
The initiative, held in partnership with the Azim Premji Foundation, provided essential healthcare services to more than 300 beneficiaries from the surrounding region.
The camp specifically targeted vulnerable groups, drawing a significant number of participants aged 7 to 18 .
Additionally, the event saw high attendance from pregnant women, lactating mothers, and Children under the age of six, all of whom received specialized essential health services.
Residents from several neighboring villages benefited from the outreach, including Tharoijam, Salam, Yurembam Awang and Yurembam Mayai Leikai.
According to Wide Angle, the camp aimed to improve healthcare access through basic check-ups and preventive health education, with an emphasis on women and children.
Wide Angle thanked the Medical Directorate of Manipur, National Health Mission, Imphal West Medical Officer, and staff of Salam Primary Health Centre for the support.
Local stakeholders, including parents, club representatives, and the Meira Paibis, also played a crucial role in the implementation and smooth running of the day's activities.
