Vaccination Drive Conducted at SWC Khongman
Ahead of Yaoshang Festival

Imphal, February 25 2026: A vaccination drive was carried out at the Social Workers Congress (SWC), Khongman, on Wednesday in collaboration with the Veterinary Dispensary, Akampat, Imphal East.

During the drive, more than 40 dogs and cats were vaccinated.

The initiative was organised as part of preventive measures ahead of the upcoming Yaoshang festival.

With the Yaoshang festival approaching, young boys and girls actively participate in sports activities at local playgrounds.

Children also visit homes to collect 'Nakhadeng', a traditional form of festive donation.

The vaccination campaign aims to ensure the safety of residents and their pets during the celebrations.
