Imphal, February 21: The Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh Manipur State has sought clarification from the State authorities on what criteria recruitment of anganwadi workers and helpers for Chandel district and Gamphajol sub-division ICDS projects was effected.

Contending that the said anganwadi workers and helpers were enrolled without the slightest adherence to prescribed norms, the Sangh also expressed annoyance over alleged issuance of forms for the post of CDPOs of ICDS projects in other districts despite the fact no DPCs would be conducted.

Observing that the forms were issued sans knowledge of the general public, a release said meeting of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh thoroughly discussed and came to the conclusion that the said forms were issued without conforming to recommendation of CDPOs or for areas with negligible population.
