SNSPA continues with comprehensive health initiatives

As part of the ongoing Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan (SNSPA), a health check-up for students was organised today at Sainik School Imphal, Pangei, by the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal.
Notably, the SNSPA, spearheaded by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, aims to strengthen women's health and nutrition, empower families, and build healthier communities.
Around 70 students, both male and female, benefited from the comprehensive health check-up held at Sainik School Imphal.
Subject experts from RIMS also delivered insightful talks on nutrition, mental health, personal & menstrual hygiene, and organ donation, educating students on crucial aspects of overall well-being.

Additionally, Aadarsh Hospital & Research Institute in collaboration with the Sainik School Imphal Alumni Association also organised a Free Mega Medical Camp at the school premises today.
The comprehensive health outreach featured consultations in multiple specialties like Orthopaedics & Sports Injury, Skin, General Medicine, General Surgery, ENT, Obstetrics, Gynaecology, and Dental OPD .
At the event, Colonel A Rajiv, Principal of Sainik School Imphal commended the initiative, calling it a "remarkable example of service to the Alma Mater and a litmus test to the values instilled in the cadets of the school" .
He also stated that the medical camp served as a shining example of collaborative healthcare outreach blending medical expertise, alumni commitment and institutional support to create a far-reaching impact.
Moreover, the fourth day of the Abhiyan at RIMS Hospital, Imphal was marked by Digital ABHA ID registration drive, yoga sessions for promoting physical and mental wellbeing, and screening for non-communicable diseases.
