Imphal, June 17 2025: Implementations of Traffic regulations, diversions, and parking arrangements for Imphal has been announced in anticipation of the Great Uprising/Unity Day, which will be held tomorrow at Kekrupat.

In a statement, SP of Traffic Police said the traffic measures will be enforced from 5 am until the conclusion of the event, with exceptions made for emergency service vehicles and attendees travelling to Kekrupat will be allowed access only from the Minuthong and Khuman Lampak sides.

Additionally, vehicles carrying the families of the 18 victims of the June 18 incident will be dropped at the North AOC traffic junction.

Employees of offices and schools within the restricted areas are advised to carry their identity cards, as they will be allowed to cross the checkpoints upon verification of their credentials.

Meanwhile, vehicles coming from Mayang Imphal, Tiddim Road, Uripok Kangchup Road, Sekmai, Ukhrul, Sawombung, Yairipok, Andro etc will be redirected to alternate routes.
