Imphal, April 17 2026: Cadets of Sainik School Imphal (SSI) recorded a historic performance in the CBSE Class X Examinations for the 2025-26 session, with the school achieving a 100% pass rate and 93 of 95 cadets securing distinctions.

Cadet Doihen Waikhom topped the school with 98.8%, followed by Cadet Sanathoi Nongthombam, Cdt Okram Luckythoi Devi, and Cdt SM Altaf, each scoring 97.8%, and Cdt Mainam Ramananda Singh with 97.6% .

In subject-wise performance, 17 cadets scored 100 in Social Science, 18 scored 100 in Information Technology, and one cadet scored 100 in General Science.

Four cadets each secured 99 in English and Manipuri.

The overall school average stood at 90.9%, with 38 cadets maintaining high honours in the 90-94.9% range.

Principal Lt Col Satish Kumar Singh congratulated the cadets, parents, and staff, crediting the results to the institution's culture and the dedication of its teaching and administrative teams.

"These results reflect the discipline and hard work fostered here.

Our cadets are proving themselves as future defenders of the nation and top-tier scholars", Lt Col Singh said, urging them to carry the momentum into Class XII .

The achievement reinforced Sainik School Imphal's legacy of moulding students into high-achieving leaders.
