In connection with the engagement of 1000 posts of Primary Teachers on Contract Basis, the Directorate of Education(S) has notified all concerned that the last date for modifying their application has been extended till January 31, 2025.In a release, L Nandakumar Singh, Director of Education(S), said that the last date has been extended considering the temporary suspension/curbing of internet and mobile data services in some districts of Manipur from November 16, 2024 till December 9, 2024 .
Notably, the Directorate had earlier given the chance to the candidates who have applied for engagement with the eligibility criteria- "Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)" to modifying their eligibility criteria if they are eligible in other eligibility criteria on or before November 30, 2024 .
The Director said that eligible candidates may modify their application by visiting the link, "www.manipureducation.gov.in" or website "www.ptregistrationedusmanipur.com" and logging in using their registered mobile number along with either OTP mode or using Employment Exchange Number mode during the stipulated time.
Those eligible candidates who had modified their application in pursuance of the previous notification but failed to change their eligibility criteria in the modification are also allowed to change their eligibility criteria during the stipulated period.
