Imphal, April 16:
The Zeliangrong Students' Union, Barak Valley has condoled the death of Liankhothang Tonsing, EE North East Frontier Railway who was killed in a mishap at Lhangnon village, Tamenglong district on April 8, reports our Jiribam correspondent.
The Union stated that his death is an irreparable loss to the people of Manipur.
Meanwhile, the tipper which smashed the Tata Sumo travelling in by the Engineer leading to his death has been seized by the Jiri Police today.
The driver of the tipper identified as Jaisaram Naik (40) of Gzararam of Churoo district, Rajasthan has also been taken into police custody.
