Imphal, May 15: A water hand-pump drilled by the PHED under the joint initiative of Ethno Heritage Council (HERICOUN) and Komrem Development Organisation (KREDO) at Tuisenphai was inaugurated today and handed over to the villagers.

A simple function was organised at the church of the village to mark the inauguration of the hand-pump.

The function was attended by HERICOUN president Renghang Chothe, KREDO vice-president Ch Mangte and Tuisenphai village chief Darsing Khup as presidium members.

Tuisenphai is located about 2 kms East of Takhel in Imphal East district at the foot of Nongmaiching hills.
