Student bodies appeal for smooth conduct of Board Exams

Imphal, February 15 2026:
The Federal Students' Organisation, Kangleipak (FESOK) and Apunba Ireipakki Maheiroi Sinpanglup (AIMS), have appealed for the smooth and peaceful conduct of the upcoming Class X and Class XII board examinations.
The Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) is set to begin the Class XII exams on February 17, 2026, while the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) will commence the Class X exams on February 23, 2026 .
In separate releases, FESOK and AIMS urged the public to avoid any disturbances, such as loud celebrations, bandhs.
blockades, or strikes, during the examination period to ensure students can travel to and from exam centers without any hindrance.
AIMS emphasized that the Class X and Class XII examinations are crucial milestones in a student's life and a significant step towards a successful future.
The organisation also highlighted past issues where unauthorized individuals allegedly entered exam centers to assist specific students, thereby compromising the integrity of the education system.
AIMS appealed to all stakeholders to strictly follow the rules and regulations set by BOSEM and COHSEM to maintain quality education standards.
FESOK and AIMS wished the appearing students success and a peaceful, normal environment to take their exams.
