Imphal, January 15 2025: Practising vote-bank policies, Congress doesn't want to end the conflict till 2027 State General Assembly elections, alleged BJP State unit vice president Ch Chidananda today.

He said this while speaking to media persons at the BJP's office at Nityaipat Chuthek.

This came after BJP Minister Govindas Konthoujam made a similar allegation against the Congress recently.

"Minister Govindas was with the Congress before and he understands the party very well.

Congress refuting and denying his claim is unfortunate," Chidananda said.

"Congress won two seats in the Lok Sabha elections held amid the tension in the State.

Now, they want the conflict to continue till the 2027 elections.

Congress is playing cheap vote-bank politics," Chidananda said.
