DAJGUA campaign in Noney from Jun 15

Imphal, June 13 2025:
In connection with the Ministry of Tribal Affairs' initiative to launch fortnight long campaign titled "Dharti Aaba Abhiyan - Awareness and Benefit Saturation Camp" from June 15, all eligible beneficiaries under Noney district have been advised to attend the campaign/camp so as to avail entitlements and services provided under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) .
A release issued by Noney district administration informed that the campaign is aimed at saturating individual entitlements at the last mile level and to create awareness about DAJGUA, under which the ministry envisions covering 63,843 villages and benefitting more than 5 crore tribal people in 549 districts and 2,911 blocks in all the tribal majority villages and aspirational blocks in 30 states/UTs .
The campaign will address critical gaps in social infrastructure, health, education and livelihood through 25 interventions implemented by 17-line ministries by convergence and outreach; and ensures holistic and sustainable development of tribal areas and communities.
This campaign will prioritise on-the-ground delivery of entitlements through village level/cluster level camps with provisions of Aadhaar card, ration card, Ayushman Bharat card (PM-JAY), caste certificate, domicile certificate, Kisan Credit Card (KCC), PM-KISAN, Jan Dhan Account, Insurance Coverage (PMJIBY/PMSBY), Social Security (Old Age Pension, Widow Pension, Divyang Pension), employment and livelihood schemes (MGNREGA, PM Vishwakarma, Mudra Loans), and women & child welfare (PMMVY, ICDS Benefits, Immunisation) .
