Imphal, May 13 2024: Seven miscreants involved in attacking civilians at Paona Keithel and Thangal Keithel during night in the last few days have been apprehended by Imphal West district police.

As video footage of the incidents of attacking civilians during night went viral on social media, a case was registered at City police station.

In the course of investigating the case, Imphal West district police apprehended seven individuals including five juveniles who were involved in two such incidents from different places of Imphal East and Imphal West.

Two of them have been identified as Khumukcham Brainny Singh (19) s/o Kh Bobo Singh of Kongba Makha Nandeibam Leikai, Imphal East and RK Ronish Singh (22) s/o RK Ramesh of Keishampat Thokchom Leikai, Imphal West.
