Churches under RBCC celebrate 20th Pastor's Day

Noney, October 12 2025: The 20th Pastor's Day was observed across all Churches under the Rongmei Baptist Churches Council (RBCC), with this year's theme: "Celebrating God's Gift to the Church" .

The special occasion was marked by heartfelt tributes to pastors who have dedicated their lives to spiritual leadership and service.

Congregation members from various Churches expressed their love and appreciation by presenting gifts in both cash and kind.

As part of the celebration, the Baptist Men Society, Longmai-3, carried out a social work initiative at the residence campuses of the Pastor and Assistant Pastor.

The initiative involved cleaning the gardens and surrounding areas, reflecting the spirit of community and service.

It was led by Namkhuan Gangmei, president of the Baptist Men Fellowship (BMF), Longmai-3 .

In a moving address, Angan Panmei, Senior Former Pastor of Town Baptist Church Longmai, reflected on the hardships and sacrifices faced by pastors in their ministerial journey.

He reminded all that pastors often endure great challenges, sometimes even risking their lives for the sake of the Gospel.

He encouraged fellow ministers to persevere through trials, drawing inspiration from the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who gave His life for humanity.

The 20th Pastor's Day served not only as a celebration but also as a time of renewed commitment, unity, and encouragement among the church community, recognizing the indispensable role pastors play in nurturing the spiritual growth and wellbeing of the Church.

Special prayer items were also taken up for all the pastors at the event.

On the occasion, the Church Choir and individuals presented special numbers dedicated to all the pastors.
