Imphal, August 11 2026: Security forces arrested three individuals and seized 218 grams of heroin in two separate operations today.

In one of the operations, Bishnupur police and Central security forces, with the assistance of Churachandpur police, intercepted a Scorpio vehicle moving from Churachandpur towards Imphal and arrested two individuals with 9 soap cases containing 96 grams of heroin.

The two arrested have been identified as Md Abdur Rahaman (29) and Md Saruk Khan (24) .

The third person arrested in the other operation has been identified as Md Feroj Khan (41) of Kwakta Ward No 3 .

He was arrested with ten soap cases containing 122 grams of heroin during routine frisking and checking at Moirang Okshongbung by the Bishnupur police.
