Teachers Training Programme concludes

A two-day Teachers Training Programme organised by the Rotary Club of Imphal as part of the TEACH Programme of India Literary Mission concluded today at Rotary Bhawan, Mantripukhri.
As per a release issued by Rotary Club of Imphal, 90 school teachers from 53 different schools under Zone-I, Imphal West, Zone-II, Imphal East and ZEO, Wangoi of the Directorate of Education (S), Government of Manipur participated in the two days training programme.
The valedictory function was graced by dignitaries, including Bisheshwar Khumukcham, Additional Director (Valley), Department of Education (S), Manipur; Y Hemchandra Singh, Zonal Education Officer, Zone I, Imphal West; Arambam Anilkumar, Zonal Education Officer, Wangoi Zone, Imphal West; Dr Th Digel Singh, president, Rotary Club of Imphal; Prof Maibam Chourjit Singh, CLCC, Rotary Club of Imphal; and Okram Sonamani Singh, secretary, Rotary Club of Imphal.
At the event, Bisheshwar Khumukcham congratulated all the participating teachers.
Stating that teachers have the power to shape the future of the Nation, he advised the teachers to stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and technologies.
Later, certificates of participation were distributed to all the participating school teachers.
Notably, Kh Dineshkumar Singh, Associate Professor, DM College of Teacher Education; Prof N Sanjoy Singh, Principal, Liberal College; Dr Asem Babina Devi, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, Manipur University; Dr Betholia Chandam, Research Officer, SWYAM Coordinator, EMMRC, Manipur University; Dr Ch Beda Devi, Assistant Professor, Department of Education, Manipur University; and Prof L Jibonkumar Sharma, MIMS, Manipur University were the resource persons for the training programme.
