Imphal, October 07:
The oath taking ceremony of 38 Guard personnel trained under the Indian Sacrifice Security Service (ISSS) was held at Manipur Press Club today.
MLA T Mangibabu, Zilla Parishad member P Ranbir and president of India Sacrifice Security Service P Bilashini graced the function respectively as chief guest, guest of honour and president.
ISSS secretary informed that all the 38 Guard personnel who have successfully undertaken the training course lasting 45 days would be employed as security guards of JN Hospital at Porompat.
ISSS started giving training to the youth to groom them as security guards with a strong conviction that this noble initiative would help in solving the problem of unemployment among the youths and wean them getting into the habit of drugs and other intoxicants.
The Guard personnel who were sworn in today belonged to the third phase of the training given by the recruiting agency.
