Jiribam Higher Secondary School Students' Union has decided to boycott the ongoing qualifying matches of the Subroto Mukherjeee Football Tournament, 2008 being played at Jiri and organised by the District Sports Office, Jiri, reports our Jiribam correspondent.
Announcing this during an emergency meeting, the student body charged the District Sports Officer with partiality and favouritism in discharging his duties in connection with organising the football matches.

The Union warned the DSO that it would disrupt the event slated to take place at Imphal if justice is not delivered.
