KIM General Assembly concludes, Ajang Khongsai re-elected as president

Kangpokpi, December 04 2025: Former Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) President, Ch Ajang Khongsai was re-elected as the president of the apex body of the Kuki's tribes in Manipur, as KIM's 31st General Assembly-cum-Election 2025 concluded successfully at Hengbung Villagein Sadar Hills Kangpokpi district, reaffirming unity, transparency, and democratic strength within the community.

Held under a peaceful and participatory atmosphere, the involvement from delegates representing all constituent groups, areas, and sections of the Kuki populace.

The event marked a renewed collective commitment to community progress and organisational integrity.

The newly elected officebearers of Kuki Inpi Manipur are Ch Ajang Khongsai (President); Henkhopao Haokip (Vice President); Paotinthang Lupheng (General Secretary); Lala Misao (Finance Secretary); and Janghaolun Haokip (Secretary, Information & Publicity) .

The Kuki Women Organisation for Human Rights and Kuki Women Union presented a traditional shawl (Saipikhup) each to the newly elected leaders as a mark of congratulations and blessings.

KIM extended heartfelt gratitude to all delegates, observers, volunteers, and community members whose participation and support ensured the smooth conduct of the assembly.
