Imphal hosts auditions for 21st Livon Mega Miss NE, 14th Set Wet Mega Mister NE

Imphal, December 04 2024: Mega Entertainment, the premier organiser of fashion and pageant events in Northeast India, recently hosted auditions for the 21st Livon Mega Miss North East and the 14th Set Wet Mega Mister North East at Hotel Bheigo, Imphal.

Aspiring participants showcased their talents and interacted with several former winners, including Martin Irengbam, the reigning Mega Mister North East, who shared valuable insights to help them prepare for the upcoming editions of these prestigious pageants, said a release.

Livon leads as the Title Sponsor for Mega Miss NE, while Set Wet sponsors Mega Mister North East.

Neyah joins as the Cosmetics Partner, and Hotel Daaysco Oley Allo serves as the Hospitality Partner.

Conceptualized by fashion entrepreneur Abhijeet Singha, these pageants are organised by Mega Entertainment and marketed by Mega Activation.

Auditions have already been held in Itanagar, Aizawl, Gangtok, Agartala, Dimapur, Shillong, and Guwahati, showcasing the remarkable talent of the region.

The Imphal audition was conducted under the guidance of Kavita Keisham, State Director of Mega Mister North East.

The esteemed panel of judges included Sonia Ningthoujam, Associate Professor, Imphal College and former Miss Lady Keane Shillong; Ibethoi Thokchom, journalist and Mega Miss North East 2012; Suman Ningthoujam, Mega Mister North East 2017; Soma Laishram, celebrated actress and Mega Miss North East 2010; Danube Kangjam, 18th Mega Miss North East and Miss Universe Manipur; and Martin Irengbam, who made India proud by securing the 1st runner-up position at the Mister Top Model of Universe Contest 2024, held in Istanbul, Turkey.

The eight-State audition tour will culminate in Guwahati, where finalists of both pageants will undergo a week of professional grooming and training before competing at the grand finale on January 30 and 31, 2025, at the ITA Cultural Complex.

These pageants not only celebrate talent but also provide winners with unique international opportunities, empowering them to shine on global platforms and represent the vibrant culture of Northeast India.
