Assam Rifles repairs damaged road, bridge

In continuation of its welfare initiatives, Assam Rifles repaired the battered roads and bridges linking New Keithelmanbi to Waroiching and Irengbam.
Through sheer grit and determination, the Assam Rifles repaired a stretch of 50 meters of road and a crucial bridge, making them fit for traffic once more, said a statement by the Assam Rifles.
Under the supervision of one officer, two Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs), 30 other ranks, and with the involvement of enthusiastic locals, this significant project was completed efficiently and effectively.
Assam Rifles provisioned JCB and other repair equipment in this exercise and the restored infrastructure is expected to greatly enhance connectivity and accessibility for the local communities, providing a much-needed boost to daily activities and local commerce during these tough times.
