Imphal, June 01: The Jirighat Police in collaboration with Jiri Police have recovered one stolen auto-rickshaw (diesel-operated) bearing registeration no.AS11C-7643 yesterday from Mongbung, Jiri near Manipur Tea Estate, reports our Jiribam correspondent.

The joint police team have also apprehended the vehicle lifter identified as Muna Rabi Das (35) of Jirighat, Cachar district, Assam.

The autorickshaw belongs to one Babuchand Deb of Pailapool, Cachar.

While the recovered vehicle is being kept at Jirighat PS and the vehicle lifter has been taken into custody of Lakhipur Police Station.
