Imphal, September 30 2026: On the occasion of the 130th birth anniversary of Jananeta Hijam Irabot, Dr Thangjam Dhabali Singh, Chairman and Managing Director of BABINA Group of Companies, donated 15 copies of his book "Microscope to Milestones: A Pathologist's Journey Beyond the Lab" to Manipur University on Wednesday.

The books were handed over to Dr Kshetrimayum Narayan Singh, President of Manipur University Teachers' Association (MUTA), for the benefit of students, teachers, researchers and the university community.

The contribution, made on a day commemorating Hijam Irabot's legacy, aims at promoting reading culture and academic enrichment.

The book traces Dr Dhabali's journey as a pathologist and his experiences beyond the lab.

MUTA expressed appreciation for the generous gesture, stating such contributions strengthen knowledge-sharing culture on campus.
