SEVA Club, UNAL celebrate Foundation Day

Imphal, August 30 2025: The 55th Foundation Day of Social Educational Voluntary Athletic Club (SEVA Club) was celebrated today at its complex in Thongju Part-II, Imphal East.

The celebration was graced by dignitaries, including Thongam Biswajit Singh, MLA, Thongju Assembly Constituency; Lt Gen (retired) K Himalay Singh, former Chairman, Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC); Prof W Chandbabu Singh, Vice Chancellor, Dhanamanjuri University; Prof A Rajmani Singh, Director, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Manipur University; and Sougrakpam Ibobi Singh, president, SEVA Club.

During the event, Thongam Biswajit inaugurated the newly constructed SEVA Club building and community hall.

Simple gifts were also presented to construction workers, founder members and former executive members of SEVA Club as a mark of appreciation for their hard work and sacrifices.

Moreover, Uripok Nupi Apunba Lup celebrated its 10th Foundation Day at Imphal Public Library in Uripok Sorbon Thingel, Imphal West.

The celebration was graced by Lt Col (retired) Soram Tikendrajit Singh, president, Uripok Apunba Lup (UAL); Gurumayum Dayapati, president in-charge, UNAL; and Khwairakpam Tarunkumar Singh, vice president, UAL as presidium members.

As part of the event, floral tributes were offered to the deceased executive members of UNAL namely Late RK Pusparani and Late Chongtham Parbati.

Prizes were also distributed to meritorious students of the Uripok area who secured good marks in this year's Class X & XII examinations.
