Senapati, August 30 2024: Ex-ADC Members Forum, Manipur has expressed strong objection against the recruitment process for appointment to various posts under ADC in the absence of elected ADCs.

The forum has also urged the State Govt to hold early elections to six ADCs in the State.

A general body meeting of the Ex-ADC Members Forum, Manipur was held today at Senapati district headquarters where issues pertaining to the ADCs were deliberated.

The meeting unanimously resolved to oppose the recruitment process for appointment to various posts under the ADCs in the absence of elected ADCs.

The meeting also agreed that the forum shall take all the responsibilities and tie-up with all stakeholders for early materialisation of pension scheme.

Addressing media, RS Ngaranchui, convenor, Ex-ADC Members Forum, Manipur stated that the meeting decided to approach the State Govt to conduct the ADC elections at the earliest without exploring other options like Administrative Committees.
