Speaking to the media while inspecting the cold storage facility at Nilakuthi Food Park, MPCC president K Meghachandra continued that the House session is the right platform for all the legislators to discuss the prevailing situation in Manipur and resolve the crisis.
Saying that involvement of the Prime Minister and other Central leadership is needed to conduct the House session in full strength, the Congress leader reiterated that the responsibility to ensure the participation of the Kuki MLAs in the Assembly sessions lies with the Government.
Violence is not the answer to the unrest which the State has been witnessing post the evening of May 3, 2023, he added.
