Imphal, August 29 2024: The Koren (Koireng) Youth Organisation Manipur (KYO-M) has expressed deep sorrow and condolence over the untimely demise of its vice president R Singsokhel Koireng.

According to a release issued by KYO-M, R Singsokhel passed away on August 28, 2024 at Shija Hospital due to an illness.

Late R Singsokhel, a teacher by profession, made significant contributions in the field of education.

He was committed, honest and a straightforward person.

He was a visionary leader and worked tirelessly for the protection and upliftment of the Koireng Tribe in many fields.

He also took crucial roles in strengthening KYO-M in various platforms.

The KYO-M asserted that his untimely demise is a great loss to the State, particularly the Koireng community.

The KYO-M also shared the grief & pain of the bereaved family and prayed that the departed soul may rest in peace in the heavenly abode.
