Imphal, Aug 26:
Students' Union of Pettigrew College, Ukhrul has threatened to take recourse to democratic means of agitation to safeguard the academic interest of the college, if the Govt not resolve the problem of acute shortage of teaching staff being faced by the students.
A memorandum submitted to the Education Minister yesterday, the student body pointed out that although the Govt had issued order for posting six lectures on August 17, none of the lecturers have joined the college till date.
