Governor meets representatives of Shiksha Vikash Samiti, SSM

Imphal, November 23 2024: Members of Spastic Society of Manipur (SSM) called on Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya at Raj Bhavan in Imphal today and invited him to graced the International Day of Persons with Disabilities which will be held on December 3, 2024 under the theme, "Amplifying the leadership of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) for an inclusive and Sustainable Future".

According to a release issued by PRO Raj Bhavan, the Governor lauded SSM for their selfless work and dedication towards the welfare & development of persons with disabilities (Divyangjan) and assured to extend all possible assistance from Raj Bhavan.

Representatives of Shiksha Vikash Samiti, Manipur also called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan today and briefed him on various activities taken up for the internally displaced students in the field of education and healthcare.

They also informed the Governor that the Samiti had provided accommodation and education to 72 IDP students in their educational institute.

The Governor, while appreciating the team for their noble services, urged them to continue their noble work.
