Inter-school Quiz Competition conducted

In connection with Pariksha Pe Charcha(PPC) 2025, Kendriya VidyalayaNo-1, Lamphelpat conducted an Inter-school Quiz Competition on Thursday.
Students from 10 schools participated in the InterSchool Quiz Competition.
Speaking on the occasion, Vishwanath Namaram, Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya No-1, said that Parisha Pe Charcha is an annual event focusing on students who are preparing for the board exams.
"It is a platform where the Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacts with students providing motivational guidance before appearing for their board exams", he added.
During the event, five motivational animated films of unsung heroes like Tatya Tope, Rani Luxmi Bai, U Tirot Sing Syiem, Bir Tikendrajit and Lachit Bor Phukan were shown.
Later, a questionnaire containing 40 different questions were given to the participants.
Heritage Convent School bagged the first and second positions, while Keishamthong High School won the third position in the quiz competition.
Notably, Pariksha Pe Charcha is a flagship programme of the Ministry of Education, Government of India which was launched in the year 2018.The main purpose of the programme is to foster a stress-free environment for students who are going to appear in the board exams.
It also aims to encourage young minds to focus on holistic learning rather than succumbing to exam-related pressures.
The idea behind Pariksha Pe Charcha, as per the Ministry of Education, has been conceptualized to reduce stress during examination.
