AMESCO hosts 'Sajibu Khudol Tamba Eegi Khongul Leeba' event

The All Manipur Ethnical Socio-Cultural Organisation (AMESCO) hosted its "26th SajibuKhudol Tamba Eegi Khongul Leeba" programme at the Nagaram community hall on Sunday, continuing its mission of integration for peace and co-existence since 1992.The event was graced by dignitaries, including Chinglemba Wahengbam, president of AMESCO; Kh Sani Mao of Mao Union; Yarsho Keishing, vice chairman of Nagaram; Joyson Saija of Nagaram Village Authority; Asung Wungshungmi, secretary of Nagaram; Ashang Khamrang, chairman of Dewlahland Development Authority; Akui Panmei, secretary of DDA; Auilung Gangmei, Thoubei secretary of Namdulong; KP Marem, ex-deacon of MBCCI Imphal (Machi Block); Sailes Tuikhar, social worker from Kangkhu Khulen; and Ibotombi Loitongba and Seityabarta, advisors of AMESCO.
Speaking on the occasion, Aguilung Gangmei emphasized the need for all residents to help each other develop the land and for public representatives to work sincerely towards making the region peaceful, understanding its history.
He questioned the sincerity of the current Government's temporary policies for Manipur.
Sani Mao highlighted that all residents originated from the same place, Makhel, and that elders still share stories and have evidence of this shared origin.
He urged everyone to recognize their shared blood ties and strengthen the bond of love and unity.
