Imphal, August 18 2025: Altogether 3.242 Kgs of banned WY tablets (Amphetamine) were seized from the possession of one Md Sajid Khan (35) s/o Md Abdul Manal of Thoubal Moijing.

During a frisking and checking exercise conducted by a combined team of Special Operations Team (SOT) of Senapati Police, B-109 QAT CRPF, D-78 QAT CRPF and G-112 CRPF along NH-2 at T Khullen, Md Sajid Khan was stopped for checking his vehicle at around 4.30 pm today.

On checking the vehicle (Bolero), 3.242 Kgs of WY tablets were found concealed inside the vehicle.

The banned items were then seized in the presence of an executive magistrate and Md Sajid Khan was arrested.

Meanwhile, a case has been registered at Senapati police station in connection with the seizure of the banned WY tablets.
