Traffic diversion for Manipur Police Raising Day

The Traffic Control Police Wing (TCPW), Manipur has issued a traffic advisory in connection with the 134th Manipur Police Raising Day celebration, scheduled to be held on October 19, 2025 .
As per a notification issued by the Superintendent of Police, TCPW, Manipur Police will be organising the full dress rehearsal and "Raising Day Run-16 Km and 5 Km" as part of the celebration of 134th Manipur Police Raising Day.
In the movement of public vehicles from Singh and Co, Moirangkhom towards Civil Secretariat from 7 am till the function is over and no private vehicles will be allowed to park their vehicles on both sides of the road stretch from Kalimai Mandir to BSNL office during the function period.
In connection with the "Raising Day Run" on October 18, one side of the road i.e., the eastern side of road meridian starting from Western Gate of Kangla to Nityapat Chuthek and the southern side of road meridian from Nityapat Chuthek to Territorial Army Gate/ Crossing shall be restricted for traffic.
Also, the western and northern sides of the above mentioned stretch of roads will be used as "Two way Road" from 6 am till the completion of the event.
Notably, the Run will start from Western Gate of Kangla and go towards Nityapat Chuthek Keishampat-Jn Kwakeithel-Jn Ningthemkhol-Airport road till Territorial Army gate/crossing and return back on the same side of the route till Western Gate of Kangla as finishing point The TCPW also informed that necessary additional arrangements will be made to ensure smooth traffic management, public safety and to avoid congestion along the route.
Vehicles of all the participants and runners shall be parked along the roadside stretch between Western side of Johnstone School and BT Park.
Official vehicles shall be parked in front of GM Hall and Indira Park.
