Democratic Students' Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) urged the concerned who had made monetary demands to school van drivers to think over before taking up any violent activities.
In a press statement sent out by its Publicity and Propaganda secretary said that Manipur is at a crictical juncture as every aspect of life in this State is going wrong.
The statement also asserted that parents are facing lots of financial burden as schools authorities charge more tuition and admission fees due to monetary demands by several organisations.
The statement urged all the concerned to make education a 'free zone', and not to pressurise anybody related to education with monetary demands.
